Archer - Personal Game Project
Archer is a fantasy action game where the player is set in an endless generated world and he must avoid, dodge over obstacles while defending himself against evil creatures living in the woods of Nothinghamshire trying to save the lands from the corruption of evil wizard Kazolm.

Idea of the game Archer came out from the legend of Robin Hood and my passion of archery combined with my passion of creating and playing videogames.
Besides graphics, which are my main skills, I utilized my self taught coding skills in Unity 3D by following thoroughly for months tutorials on Youtube mainly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EF_MPhDTFcE, Unity Forums and accumulating knowledge and resources from Github community.
I have chosen Unity 3D Engine for its versatility, easiness and ability to create your own projects in a very creative and simple matter with a vast amount of resources and documentation.
I am currently looking to partner with a UK based Games Publisher and a technical co-founder to build out the additional levels.
Developing Archer
1. Game design - setting up the concept of the game, mechanics, gameplay and art.
2. Creating concept art, deciding how the main character will look and the environemnt where the action and story will take place and with who our hero will interract with, other npc characters.
3. Modeling and texturing the main characters, npc, the props and assets used in game and importing them in Unity 3D.
4. Creating the animations for Archer - main character using 3D Studio Max and Biped, animations such as Idle, Run, Attack etc.
5.Coding and making the game functional, apply scripts such as PlayerControler which dictates main character's movement inside the game with keyboard/controller input and many other gameplay and mechanics logic.

Main character modeled in 3D Studio Max and sculpted with ZBrush, textured in Substance Painter.
The main character it's inspired by Glen Keane's iconic art found in Disney's animations such as Aladdin, Tarzan and Tangled.
After modeling the character he was later animated using 3D Studio Max's Biped - Character Studio and then imported with all the separate animations in Unity 3D.
I had to follow up tutorials on Youtube and other users on internet on how to create the "Player Controller" script and animation system in bringing Archer to life and being able to control it through mapped input such as keyboard or controller.
